Simon is the Director of Physical Therapy at Aptiva Health, a Louisville based multi-disciplinary orthopedic care and rehab provider. I first connected with Simon through a spine surgeon working at Aptiva. His first introduction to Physical Therapy started as an athlete, which soon became his professional focus through his training at Washington University in St. Louis. He coached D1 Football and even had stints as an Executive Coach. Simon brings a unique perspective to the PT profession. He emphasizes individualized care over maximizing insurance approved visits. You’ll find him a strong advocate for hybrid models that blend in-clinic and at-home care, leveraging technology (like AI and remote monitoring) to empower patients, track progress, and improve outcomes. He stresses the importance of patient engagement and accountability both inside and outside the clinic.

He believes in empowering staff, reducing burnout by keeping focus on the purpose of therapy, and building a legacy of meaningful work.
